SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coloured, oxygen-binding polymers and to articles made from such polymers. Molten resin is described, which contains a main polymer, an oxidisable organic polymer, a transition metal-based catalyst (CDF) and colouring substance, where the colouring substance gives articles a catalyst deactivation factor less than approximately 0.25 and does not increase the ion binding energy of the transition metal-based catalyst by more than 1 eV. described also are coloured single-layer articles made from such a polymer composition, such as films, thermoformed trays or blow moulded containers.
EFFECT: articles made from the disclosed resin ensure long storage period of the packed product due to presence of colouring substances in the resin which do not deactivate the catalyst.
