FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a preform (versions) having a preform wall, a two-axis-oriented container (versions) made from a preform, an article having a preform wall. Preform wall contains a composition containing at least one polyester-based component, a transition metal catalyst and a vegetable oil. Vegetable oil may contain at least one molecule having a double allyl structure. At least one polyester-based component can contain at least one acid link and at least one diol link. Concentration of double allylic structures of vegetable oil in the composition can be more than 5.0 mg-eq/kg relative to all components based on polyester.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain end products (containers) with improved gas-barrier properties, reduced turbidity and reduced yellowness, and the preform has improved aesthetic characteristics related to whiteness/opacity.
