SUBSTANCE: invention discloses oxygen-absorbing compositions for containers (embodiments), one of embodiments of said composition additionally contains titanium dioxide, as well as invention discloses a preform, film, sheet made from said compositions, a biaxis oriented container made from said preforms. Oxygen-absorbing composition for containers (embodiments) includes at least one polyester-based component which is a copolyester comprising a metal sulphonate group, a transition metal-based catalyst and vegetable oil. Vegetable oil contains at least one molecule having a double allyl structure. Complex copolyether containing a metal sulphonate group includes at least one acid link and at least one diol link. Concentration of double allylic structures of vegetable oil in the composition is more than 5.0 mg-eq/kg of all components based on polyester. Composition can also be devoid or virtually devoid of polyamide.
EFFECT: invention provides improved gas-barrier properties, reduced turbidity and reduced yellowness.
