FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in rolling and sliding friction units in textile, chemical, automobile and machine building industries. The composition has a base and a nickel-cobalt stearate which contains nickel and cobalt metal in equal amounts in concentration ranging from 2.0 to 4.5 wt % with the following ratio of components in wt %: nickel-cobalt stearate - 0.5-3.0, base - 97.0-99.5.
EFFECT: low coefficient of friction, increased wear resistance, increased extreme contact loads, longer service life of friction units.
