FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: cores near nuclear-magnetic-resonance (NMR) logging tool are influenced with pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance method and NMR logging data is received, where cores have characteristic time allocation T1 of longitudinal relaxation and apparent time allocation T2app of transverse relaxation. On the basis of NMR logging data there determined is allocation R as R=T1/T2app, values of allocations T2app and R are processed in the form of separate bins together with NMR logging data according to two-dimensional conversion model, and signal intensity image is obtained in the form of dependence of R and T2app, which is typical for the involved parametre referring to the above area. On the basis of the displayed high-intensity signal lying in the first range of values T2app and the first range of values R, there determined is presence of light hydrocarbons in the above mentioned area.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and reliability of detection and quantitative estimation of light hydrocarbons, such as gas and retrograde condensates.
