FIELD: physics; geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing NMR data. A set of NMR data is received for a fluid sample lying either in a well shaft or in a laboratory environment. From the set of NMR data, multidimensional distribution is calculated a using mathematical inversion which is independent of prior knowledge of data of properties of the fluid sample. Multidimensional distribution is graphically displayed on a multidimensional map. Each fluid display visible on the graph is identified as representing a probable existence of the detected fluid. One or more quantitative formation evaluation solutions for one or more fluid displays is calculated based on the multidimensional distribution associated with the respective fluid display.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining qualitative values of formation evaluations.
