METHOD OF CHOOSING TACTICS OF TREATING ACUTE TISSUE HYPERTENSION SYNDROME IN CASE OF FESTERED PILONIDAL FISTULA AT ABSCESS STAGE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, and can be applied in surgery, in particular in coloproctology. Method consists in registration of tissue pressure, fasciotomy, opening of abscess with cutting instrument, evacuation of purulent exudade, treatment of purulent cavity and installation of drainage. By means of invasive method measured are: intra-tissue pressure in gluteus medius muscle (P_med.l) and gluteus maximus muscle (P_max.l) on the left side, and after that, in gluteus medius muscle (P_med.r) and gluteus maximus muscle (P_max.r) on the right side of patient's body. Then by formulae R_l= P_max.l - P_med.l and R_r= P_max.r- P_med.r difference of pressures on each side of gluteus muscles is determined, and if R_l value or R_r value equals 30 mm Hg or higher, acute tissue hypertension synbdrome is diagnosed, fasciotomy of medial fascial node of one, respectively, left or right gluteus maximus muscle with cut length 6 cm is performed. If R_l value equals 30 mm Hg and higher, and R_r value equals 30 mm Hg and higher, acute tissue hypertension syndrome is diagnosed, fasciotomy of medial fascial nodes, by turn, of both gluteus maximus muscles is performed.

EFFECT: application of invention allows to increase treatment results; reduce number of complications and recurrences.
