FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to X-ray computed tomographic scanners. A tomographic scan system comprises a base, a rotary object support placed in the base and used to accommodate a controlled object, an X-ray apparatus, a data collector located on two sides of the base, and a detector. In an initial condition, one side of the detector is aligned with a line extending a connecting line between an X-ray source of the X-ray apparatus and a centre of the rotary object support, or spaced from the continuing line at a distance smaller than radius of the image field.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows reducing projection data amount for scanning and amount of calculations for reconstruction.
