FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to reconstructive surgery and can be used at treating post-burn deformation of nose and cicatricial epicanthuses. Substance of the method consists in excision of vicious cicatrices and closure of a formed wound defect. Within the bridge of nose, folding flaps are cut out with their bases turned to epicanthuses. The cicatrices are transected between their apexes to create vertical flaps with proximal and distal bases. All the flaps are mobilised. The apexes of the folding flaps are sutured together thereby eliminating epicanthic folds; the vertical flap with its proximal base is anchored to side faces of the sutured folding flaps. The cicatrices are excised on the nasal arch and wings of nose and the vertical flap with a distal base. The created wound defect is closed by a full-thickness skin graft.
EFFECT: use of the given invention allows eliminating recurrence and reducing time of hospital treatment.
