FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying treatment in two stages. Cicatrices are radically exsected at the first stage and the wound defect is substituted with free cutaneous graft. An islet is cut out from the released coalesced cutaneous graft and its superior edge is placed on the line of mandibulocervical fold. Plastic repair of the defect is performed on the lateral surfaces using local tissues. Wounds in the submandibular region and below the islet are covered with free cutaneous grafts. EFFECT: improved functional and cosmetic result.
