FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics. A pin is introduced in a frontal plane through the lower one-third of the humeral shaft to the points of the least mobility of soft tissues. The pin is fixed in a semiring of the external fixation apparatus. Then the second pin is introduced in a projection of an extended long axis of the humeral bone through the olecranon wherein one-stage joint stretching is performed, and fixed in another semiring of the external fixation apparatus. Both semirings are pivotally interconnected at the elbow level wherein one-stage distraction 5 to 8 mm is created. It is followed with arthroscopy combined with cold plasma ablation of the pathologically changed tissues. Then elbow joint movements are passively exercised with additional ablation of the intraarticular obstructions. After maximisation of the movements, the external fixation apparatus is removed.
EFFECT: method provides elimination of joint stiffness, higher effectiveness of arthroscopic surgeries.
