FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used as a distraction method for performing arthroscopy of the wrist joint in intra-articular fractures of the distal metaepiphysis of the radius bone. An external fixation device (EFD) is installed on the area of the injured limb for distraction of the wrist joint from a frame field set (FFS). To do this, the radial and carpal modules are formed, which are then connected with an X-ray-non-contrast rod. Two rods with a diameter of no more than 4 mm are used for the beam module. The carpal module is formed on one or two rods with a diameter of no more than 3 mm, inserted along the back surface of the hand into the distal third of the body and the base of the second or third metacarpal bone. The rods of the wrist and beam modules are connected to each other due to universal fixing nodes and the use of an additional connecting rod. After performing traction for the hand, the device is stabilized by tightening the nuts of the fixing nodes with a key.
EFFECT: method provides the intraoperative possibility of moving the hand and forearm in all planes without resorting to dismantling the EFD, making it possible to reposition intra-articular fragments, and if necessary, changing the position of the hand in the device, provides using both arthroscopic and X-ray equipment simultaneously, as well as, if necessary, to conduct a closed or open stage of surgery with the possibility of implantation of metal fixators due to the use of the FFS device for distraction of the wrist joint.
