FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in inorganic chemistry. Method of preparing mixture of oxide compounds of bismuth and germanium involves mixing initial substances, homogenising and heating the mixture. The initial substances used are bismuth metal and germanium (IV) oxide. Molten bismuth is obtained by heating the reactor. Dispersion of molten bismuth and homogenisation of the reaction mixture is carried out in a turning reactor in an inert atmosphere, after which the mixture is oxidised with oxygen at 300-350°C and temperature is then raised to 750°C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a mixture of oxide compounds with high packed density while retaining high degree of purity of the compounds.
