SUBSTANCE: method of producing tin (IV) oxide by oxidising tin with oxygen while heating is characterised by that the process is carried out in a revolving reactor with a controlled atmosphere.
EFFECT: invention enables to use commercial-grade tin metal in ingots and industrial oxygen and obtain tin oxide powder, where the grain size of the powder should not exceed 500 mcm.
