FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in a device which has a base made in form of a centre hub on which there are radial edges on which there are units whose height is controlled, each consisting of a supporting arm and bosses attached to the supporting arm, and the surface of the base is made in form of an equidistant theoretical reflecting surface of a reflector on the side where the units are fitted, the radial edges are joined to each other by sectors of longitudinal and transverse edges joined to each other, on which there are also units whose height is controlled, the bosses have holes and between the bosses and the base, non-contact optical sensors are fitted such that the theoretical reflecting surface of the reflector lies in the range of their measurement, which are connected in series with a control unit which has a data collection unit and a computer with software, and control units.

EFFECT: more accurate formation of the profile of a curvilinear surface due to possibility of controlling the profile of the surface during the formation process and its inspection after testing.
