FIELD: miscellaneous vibrating units, systems, and appliances. SUBSTANCE: used as DC power supply for controlling the drive is power unit that has limited-power DC supply and energy storage; prior to connecting electromagnet power winding to power unit, energy is stored in energy storage up to value corresponding to electromagnet force pulse ensuring desired number of working cycles performed by working element; upon reversal of the latter electromagnet power winding is reconnected to power unit at stored energy level sufficient to set working element in motion. Supply current pulse length can be limited by reducing instant current relative to maximum value by 2- 5%. Interval between current pulses can be limited by time required for demagnetizing the electromagnet and for energy storage to level corresponding to electromagnet force pulse and sufficient to ensure desired number of working cycles. Proposed vibratory electromagnetic drive enables implementing this method. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and improved safety in operation. 14 cl, 5 dwg
