FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to food industry and can be used to obtain high quality biologically active additives (BAA). BAA having cholesterol-lowering properties is a powder of peeled red rice. The powder is obtained by crushing the rice and its subsequent grinding in a thin rotating spiral film with thickness of 0.1-1.0 mm at a pulsating pressure gradient of 10-30 MPa and a temperature of 25-30°C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a product with high activity of cholesterol-lowering properties.
