SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to aircraft luggage rack. Rack (100) comprises inclining floor (1), rotary door (1) and revolving suspended mechanism (8). Said inclining floor (1) can revolve about suspended mechanism between loading/unloading positions with opened door. Method of loading luggage rack comprises the following stages, i.e. opening second locking device to open rack door, opening first locking device to turn inclining floor from initial position into loading position, loading luggage onto rack, applying threshold force to turn inclining floor back into initial position, second locking device for locking the door.
EFFECT: ease of loading and unloading.
