FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light-reflecting coatings and can be used in space engineering, in various industries, as well as for supplying heat to residential and industrial buildings. The pigment for light-reflecting coatings contains barium titanate in which the titanium cation is partially substituted with a tin ion. Depending on temperature, radiation capacity of such a pigment lies between 0.42 and 0.77 while varying working temperature from -67 to +98°C.
EFFECT: invention enables thermal stabilisation of spacecraft and other equipment.
