FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and is a method of producing L-amino acid, involving growing Escherichia bacteria in a culture medium which results in production and accumulation of the said L-amino acid in the culture liquid, and extraction of the said L-amino acid from the culture liquid. The said bacteria is modified such that, one or more genes which code small RNA are inactivated.
EFFECT: invention enables highly efficient production of L-amino acid.
