FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system allows preventing failure of apparatus in emergency. System comprises device to collect gas-vapor phase of inflammable product, i.e. coil, and flame arrester connected via coil with apparatus hatch and welded to metal frame. Copper plate is arranged between hatch and coil flanges, while flame arrester incorporates union for automatic feed of steam and dilution of gas-vapor phase of inflammable product to below the limit of the product ignition. Metal screen is arranged on flame arrester end. In emergency, copper plate is broken in said apparatus to allow gas-vapor phase to flow through coil into flame arrester. High pressure and temperature signal comes to fire control unit which generates signal to open water steam feed valve to dilute gas-vapor phase to below its limit of ignition, via union to flame arrester.. At the same time, fire control union sends the signal to cut in emergency pump for it to pump out liquid phase from apparatus into cleaning equipment and cut out the pump that feeds product from apparatus into process circuit.
EFFECT: higher safety and efficiency of equipment functioning in emergency.
