FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: double zigzag antenna consists of the first, second, third, fourth and fifth pairs of opposite sections of wire, every of which has length equal to half of wave length, lying in the same plane and arranged symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis, passing through points of their crossing connected serially one after another. Besides the first and the last pairs of opposite sections are shorted in points, which are most distant from the centre, and in double-wire supply line connected in centres of two opposite sections of central pair wires.

EFFECT: development of antenna element of high reliability.
