FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of bonding flexible sheet material strip to substrate. Sheet material and substrate comprise at least one metal sheet from, for example aluminium, bonded as an interlayer, between two fabrics from, e.g. fiber glass. Proposed method comprises the following stages: removing dust from bonding zone, applying uniform layer of polymerising adhesive on at least one of two surfaces of flexible sheet material and substrate, smoothing said layer of adhesive, laying flexible sheet on said substrate, bonding sheet so that to avoid formation of whatever bubbles, laying protective film of said sheet to prevent adhesive spill around sheet. Protective film sizes are larger that those of sheet. It comprises also pressing said sheet to substrate by press and heating during pressing.
EFFECT: better shear strength at -170°C no cohesion failures.
