FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to a new compound - di-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxy-1-(N-isopropylamino)propane succinate
with antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive activity. The compound (1) is three-stage synthesised. At the first stage, ethylene chlorohydrin and tin tetrachloride are added to 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol solution in trichloroethylene. The prepared compound is heated with isopropyl amine that leads to formation of related amine. An end-product succinate (1) is prepared by mixing of amine solution and succinic acid in acetone wherein succinate (1) is precipitated as white crystals.
EFFECT: preparation of the compound with antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive activity.
