FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the coal-mining industry and can be used in underground gasification for producing molecular hydrogen. The method involves injection and gas well surface drilling in a coal-bearing layer, pipe string tubing, fracturing well jointing, injection well around a bottomhole, alternating air supply through the injection well for heating the coal-bearing layer to temperature 1250°C and heated water delivery to the heated coal-bearing layer, alternating drainage of combustion products synthetic gas formed in the coal-bearing layer through the gas well. At the stage of layer heating, the pipe string in the gas well is surface-filled with spent sorbent with pre-recovered carbon oxide. At the stage of synthetic gas preparation, for carbon oxide sorption temperature 65-70°C and pressure 1.3-1.4 MPa are maintained, with following delivering spent sorbent on the surface to recover carbon oxide with combustion gases.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing energy capacity of the process.
