FIELD: ignition device.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an ignition device and a method for underground coal gasification. Ignition device includes serially connected delivery device, separating device, igniter and one or several fuel containers. Fuel containers are in-series connected to each other. Delivery device is a flexible pipe / conjugated pipe or guide cable. Igniter device passes through one or more fuel containers and starts them from the device end in a delayed manner. Disconnection device is detached after the ignition device is started, and thus the ignition device components, including the delivery device, are diverted to the safe position. Each fuel container contains an aluminothermic agent and is used for ignition of an underground coal bed after ignition of the fuel container. Also disclosed is a method for implementing the disclosed device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of coal firing.
