FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring dispersed phase entrainment in gas flow involves passing a gas sample of specified volume through an element filter at gas flow pressure, temperature and rate that is followed with determination of the weight increment of the element filter due to deposition of the dispersed phase. The gas volume is sampled from gas flow with using a sampling probe. During pressure gain in a mounting system, precipitated moisture is collected in an auxiliary element filter. After pressure gain, the auxiliary element filter is plugged, and specified volume of the gas sample is supplied to the element filter. From the element filter, it is delivered to the second auxiliary element filter at fixed gas flow rate maintained with a regulating valve. The weight increment of the second auxiliary element filter is subtracted from the weight increment of the element filter. A related device for implementing the method comprises an element filter and a fixed flow rate regulating valve. Besides the device comprises a sampling probe, an auxiliary element filter and the second auxiliary element filter for measurement result correction. The fixed flow rate regulating valve represents a unit with a set of calibrated critical nozzles.
EFFECT: more precise dispersed phase entrainment in gas flow in rapid sampling.
