FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: microwave oven is used in the drying process. While penetrating raw lignin, electromagnetic waves heat the lignin from the inside, force the water molecules to oscillate at microwave frequency, while considerably amplifying Brownian motion and water molecules "fly out" of the wet lignin. Lignin is fed into the oven in granular form and is not moved during the drying process. As a result, dangerous gas and dust mixture forms in the oven. The drying process is carried out from lignin moisture of 65-70% to moisture of 7-10%.
EFFECT: method is fast, technologically convenient and cheap.
