FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: method of drying of bulk dielectric materials is carried out by means of electromagnetic microwave frequency effect, at that, before exposure of material to electromagnetic microwave frequency a Q-factor of emitter is adjusted depending on dielectric characteristics of a dried material while a layer of a material is exposed to the effect of electromagnetic wave emission with a length of a wave of 0.1224 m and frequency of 2.45 GHz at an optimal absorption at loading by means of passing the bulk dielectric material through a device for drying of the said material under a continuous mode at a rate of 0.01-0.02 m/sec. A drying device contains a working chamber, a drive, a loading unit, a regulating gate, emitters of electromagnetic microwave frequency, an unloading unit, a duct catching unit and a fan; at that the device is additionally equipped with a band conveyor with a belt made out of dielectric material; the fan is installed at the beginning of the conveyor belt, while the electromagnetic wave emitters are arranged above the conveyor belt and made as a phase array antenna in form of horn radiators assembled in tandem at a specified interval.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of drying of materials due to intensifying of drying process while maintaining calorific power of a material.
