SUBSTANCE: invention provides reconstruction using a light modulator (8), a display system (3) with at least two display apparatus (4, 5, 9) and an illumination device (1) with sufficiently coherent light for illuminating a hologram (2) encoded in the light modulator (8). At least two display apparatus (4, 5) lie relative each other such that the first display apparatus (4) serves for zoomed in mapping of the light modulator (8) onto the second display device (5). The second display apparatus (5) serves for mapping the plane (10) of the spatial frequency spectrum of the light modulator (8) into a viewing plane (6), having at least one viewing window (15). The viewing window (15) corresponds to the diffraction order of the spatial frequency spectrum.
EFFECT: possibility of reconstruction regardless of the position of the viewer.
