METHOD OF TRANSOSSEOUS OSTEOSYNTHESIS OF DIAPHYSEAL FRACTURES OF FOREARM BONES IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B17/58

Abstract RU 2397723 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to the traumatology and orthopedics. After installing the forearm in a neutral position between pronation and supination, each spoke is led in the frontal plane of the proximal end of ulna and metacarpal bones, where the proximal ring and semiring supports are mounted. The Ilizarov apparatus is assembled, connecting with threaded rods proximal, distal ring and semiring supports. The distraction is carried out of 1-2 mm bigger than the amount of displacement of bone fragments in length. Intraosseous rods are mounted into each bone fragment, perpendicular to the axis of fragments of the radius and ulna bones in the sagittal plane. Rotating shift of the radial bone is eliminated by rotational movement of the proximal rod, led through the proximal fragment of the radial bone. The shift in width is eliminated by mounted on ring supports with intraosseous rods. After repositioning the compression of bone fragments is conducted. Then a fixation of fragments of the forearm bones is carried out, while stabilised the radial bone with the spoke passed through its distal part, fixed on the distal ring support, and console spoke passed through the proximal fragment of the radius, fixed to the proximal support and the ulna by the console spoke on its distal part. The fixation of spokes is carried out on the outrigger brackets of ring supports. The semiring support is dismantled.

EFFECT: method provides improved repositioning properties of the device, increasing the rigidity of fixation of bone fragments, weight loss of transosseous apparatus, reducing traumatism.
