FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for outworn or defected reinforced concrete products reprocessing. The method for destruction of reinforced concrete products having an inner cavity consists in the product to be destroyed being submerged in water and subject to the effects of an electric discharge between electrodes. The working (first) electrode is placed inside the product cavity while the second is represented by the reinforcement framework, one providing for movement of the working electrode or the hollow product. During motion the crosswise reinforcements are cut. The device contains a working electrode connected to the high voltage pole of a pulse generator partially submerged into the cavity of the product to be destroyed, filled with water. The other electrode is represented by the reinforcement framework. The device additionally contains tools for motion of the product to be destroyed relative to the working electrode as well as tools for cutting reinforcement rods positioned across the product movement direction.
EFFECT: simplification and acceleration of the process of concrete products preparation for destruction.
