FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to composition of steels used in motor industry and agricultural tractor construction. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, aluminium, molybdenum, yttrium, vanadium, cobalt and iron at the following ratio of elements, wt %: carbon 0.004 - 0.006, silicon 0.004 - 0.006, manganese 0.04 - 0.06, chromium 0.4 - 0.6, aluminium 3.5-4.5, molybdenum 0.3 - 0.4, yttrium 0.1-0.12, vanadium 0.9-1.3, cobalt 6.0-8.0, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: upgraded fracture strength of steel.
