FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: distributed control and/or monitoring system has a control/monitoring centre, several field devices in an industrial enterprise which do not have a constant line of communication with the control/monitoring centre and with each other. Each field device includes the following: a converter; a wireless transceiver for wireless communication; and a power bus for the entire enterprise which is not connected to the control/monitoring centre, for supplying electrical power to each field device, where the power bus does not have a signal transmission channel and is separated from any signal transmission channel between the control/monitoring centre and the field devices.
EFFECT: increased reliability and lower cost control networks.
