FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting femur head into cotyloid cavity using the device. Femur is brought down under control and set into the position of maximum matching human epiphysis articulation surface and the acetabular notch with following femur head moving along the acetabular notch into the cotyloid cavity recess. The device has hip joint and femur support units connected to each other with reposition units and distraction rods provided with hinges, wires and fixing members. Every reposition member is manufactured as crank gear which moving link is attached to femur support unit and the fixed one is attached to the hip joint support unit. Frame is attached to the hip joint support unit and is provided with distraction unit. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; full restoration of natural interrelations between the parts of hip joint. 6 cl, 12 dwg
