FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to processing of loose materials and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Proposed method is implemented in agitator mixer. Method comprises loading the components and their mixing by "piston" and displacement mixing of mix components particles. Prepared mix is discharged via discharge opening in one of extreme parts of the mixer by turning the blades arranged diametrically opposite in one line of blades: one blades are turned through 0° to α=180°-α_k, where α_k is critical angle of turn equal to 60-70°, while opposite blades are turned through 0° to α_k. Proposed unit comprises hollow shaft with blades, their axles being coupled with turn angle control mechanism arranged inside said hollow shaft with drive of the shaft translation. Turn angle control mechanism consists of two independent parts that allow turning the blades through different angles.

EFFECT: higher quality of mix, reduced mixing interval and costs.
