FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworks and can be used for storage and drying of converted timber. Proposed device comprise clamping pads arranged opposed on top and bottom of stack to be clamped and furnished with band loops fitted thereon. Said bans are connected by tightening lock made as a ratchet-and-pawl. One of said bands has free end to be passed through ratchet-and-pawl and stack compression spring fitted on one of the bands and connected thereto by said loops. Spring develops required force to clamp the stack.

EFFECT: easy and cheap stack clamping jobs, reduced casting of converted timber.
