FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a glass treatment composition. The composition contains at least one compound which contains at least one functional group f(A) and at least one compound which contains at least one functional group f(B). The functional group f(B) can interact with one or more functional groups f(A). Interaction of said functional groups leads to polycondensation and/or polymerisation of components in order to convert the thin layer deposited from solution to a solid layer. Functional groups f(A) and f(B) can be selected from: -NH2, - NH- , epoxy-, vinyl, (meth)acrylate, isocyanate and alcohol groups. At least one of the compounds of the said composition contains at lest a functional group R-O- bonded to a silicon atom, where R is an alkyl residue.
EFFECT: higher mechanical strength of glass.
