SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to design a system-wide hardware environment of digital autoregressive filters and finite impulse response (FIR) filters, devices for identification, convolution and modular calculations. The device has a clock pulse generation unit, a filter type code storage unit, a filter polynominal structure code storage unit, a filter unit consisting of n series-connected identical elements - cells which form a homogeneous programmable filter register medium.
EFFECT: possibility of programmable tuning of a digital filter for carrying out functions of an autoregressive or FIR filter using an arbitrary filter polynomial.
