FIELD: medicine, fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to protection of objects flammable or failing under mechanical impact or vibration, and can be used for explosives storage or transportation. A fire- and heat-resisting compositional system contains a lidded power assembly container housing enclosing an object to be protected along the outer contour, and a thermal component. Besides in the interfaces of the mating fragments of the power assembly housing and the lid, there is a thermal ring cell made of a reinforced polymer composite wherein the reinforcing element represents a fibreglass tape wound round the contour of the interface of the housing components and spaced in a cured epoxy binding agent in the offered ratio. The method for making the fire- and heat-resisting compositional protection system presents a pre-fabrication technology as said thermal component made of said reinforcing tape composite and binding agent to produce a material blank.
EFFECT: better fire- and heat-resistance indices due to reduced heat loss in the interfaces of the power housing components, higher axial compression strength due to higher bonding strength of the binding agent and reinforcing element.
