FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to supercritical centrifuges for gas and isotropic mixes separation. Proposed centrifuge comprises vertical rotor with top and bottom covers, system of pipelines to feed gas in and discharge it out of rotor, and rotor electric drive. Rotor is mounted in evacuated housing to run in lower needle bearing and upper magnetic bearing. In compliance with first version, rotor is made from shell of revolution representing a sleeve made from flexible tubular fabric. In compliance with second version, rotor consists of two or more rigid pipes jointed by flexible elements representing shells of revolution made from tubular fabric. Shell shape, in both versions, is provided for by tensioning it by vertical force generated by upper magnetic bearing. Tubular fabric is made from carbon fibers produced from nano-tubes/ it can be sealed by layers and impregnated by sealing rubber, polymer, fluoroplastic and heat conducting materials.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
