METHOD OF MANAGING THE WORK OF FLEXIBLE ROTOR ON ELECTROMAGNETIC BEARINGS AND THE SYSTEM FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H02K7/09 F16C32/04 F16C39/06

Abstract RU 2618001 C1

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in the method for controlling the operation of the flexible rotor, including measuring at discrete instants of the deflections of the axis of the flexible rotor, the angular velocity of rotation of the flexible rotor is additionally measured at discrete instants Ω and the angle of its rotation F and to compensate the resonant beats of the flexible rotor in k-x intervals of the indicated angular velocity Ω in each nth radial electromagnetic bearing (EMF), two additional orthogonal driving forces F1(n) and F2(n), and then these additional forces are formed in each nth radial EMF. In the system for controlling the operation of a flexible rotor consisting of N channels for creating two orthogonal driving forces in the radial EMF in each channel containing the flexor axis deflection measurement unit at the location of the radial EMF, a unit for measuring the angular speed of rotation of the flexible rotor and the angle of rotation thereof, and each channel of the system is equipped with a software definition unit for two additional orthogonal control forces, connected by its output to the second input of the control unit of said control forces in radial EMF, the unit for measuring the angular velocity of rotation of the flexible rotor and the angle of its rotation by its multi-channel output is connected to the inputs of the specified channel blocks of software determination of two additional orthogonal control forces.

EFFECT: increase of reliability and service life of the flexible rotor on electromagnetic bearings as a result of increasing the degree of compensation of the residual imbalance due to the formation in each radial electromagnetic bearing of the flexible rotor of two additional orthogonal driving forces that increase the efficiency of adjusting the position of the rotor axis in transient modes and determined by the proposed system and procedure for controlling the operation of the flexible rotor.
