FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to washing of bottles or similar vessels and may find application in particular in food industry. Method is carried out in plant that has machine to clean vessels-bottles of available design. Prior to treatment in cleaning machine vessels are exposed to preliminary treatment in device for separation of labels that remained on vessels, at the same time they are first heated at the stage of preliminary treatment and then at the stage of main treatment to remove labels, treating them with heated liquid medium. If there are self-adhesive labels are available on vessels, at the stage of preliminary treatment by means of hot liquid medium to vessels or by means of radiation energy they are heated so that self-adhesive glue layer of labels is changed into soft or at least viscous-flow condition. Heated vessels are treated at the main phase of treatment by means of heated liquid medium. Device for method realisation comprises at least one zone of preliminary treatment for heating of vessels at the phase of preliminary treatment, at least one zone of the main treatment for heating of labels by means of liquid treatment medium, conveyor for movement of vessels in zones and facilities for heating of vessels.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of treatment.
