FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to metal-cutting lathes and devices for control of metal-cutting lathe feed. Metal-cutting lathe with automatic control comprises movable and fixed parts, linear electric motor arranged in the form of movable and braking electromagnet sections arranged on fixed and movable parts of lathe, device for suppression of vibration and stabilisation of feed, including loading device, vibration damper and vibration sensor. Loading device is arranged in the form of controlled linear electric motor, which comprises movable and braking electromagnet sections arranged on fixed and movable parts of lathe, sections are arranged with the possibility to let braking current through depending on difference of previously established maximum value of current force and current force value in linear electric motor.
EFFECT: increased quality and accuracy of treated part surface.
