FIELD: mechanical engineering; machine tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to suppress vibrations and maintain constant pulling force at translational displacement of parts of feed drive and increase accuracy of operation of said drive. Proposed device includes electromagnetic coil stationarily mounted on base, rod enclosed by electromagnetic coil and attached to movable part of feed drive by means of piezoelectric elements. Proposed device contains also pulling force pickup installed on movable part of feed drive and vibration pickup secured on movable part of feed drive. Signals from said pickups get into control system which forms control action changing force of current flowing in magnetic coil, and piezoelectric elements, together with rod, provide suppression of vibrations by changing and shifting rod between piezoelectric elements in antiphase with vibration.
EFFECT: reduced level of dynamic loads acting onto feed drive parts, influence of drive parts rigidity onto accuracy of displacement and improved quality of machined surface, strength of tool and reliability of machine tool as a whole.
