FIELD: machine tool building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine tool building, namely to devices for band saw machines for cutting various materials, and can be used in experimental studies of the cutting process on band saw machines. Band-cutting machine contains a saw frame, two discs, one of which is driven and the other is tension, located on the saw frame, a band saw stretched on the said discs, stabilizing elements for damping vibration of the band saw, and two guides of the band saw, turning it relative to the plane workpieces in the cutting zone. Each of the stabilizing elements consists of axes and two pairs of rollers mounted on them, one of which is metal, and the second is made of caprolon. The axis of the rollers is composite. The inner part of the axle is in communication with the outer part by means of elastic elements, which are fixed on the inner part from axial displacement by means of locking bushings pressed onto the said cylindrical steps of the inner part. A cavity is formed between the inner and outer parts of the axle, which is filled with a damping fluid.
EFFECT: invention provides increased rigidity and durability of the cutting tool by reducing the vibration of the band saw.
