FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for production of vegetable oil and may be used in agro-industrial complex processing enterprises. Oil press for oil-containing raw materials comprises cylinder with section of oil-containing raw materials transportation, section of its squeezing and holes for oil discharge. Auger with blades is installed in sections of transportation and squeezing. Section with die is also provided for cake discharge. Press is equipped at least with one intermediate star-like die, which is rigidly fixed on auger between sections of cylinder. Intermediate die has blades, at least one of which is arranged in the form of knife with sharp cutting edge.
EFFECT: expansion of press functional capabilities.
