FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in re-melting on base of flux containing, wt %: calcium fluoride 50-55, aluminium oxide 18-20, calcium oxide 14-17, magnesium oxide 10-13, titanium dioxide 2-4 and additional flux containing wt %: calcium fluoride 55-58, aluminium oxide 30-35, magnesium oxide 10-14.
EFFECT: facilitating production of ingots of over 1000 mm height at uniform distribution of titanium along height of ingot without additional dose for oxidation.
