FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: regenerative air heater containing housing, branch pipes for supply and removal of flue gases and air, tubular heat exchanger connected as to inlet and outlet to branch pipes for air supply and removal is equipped with impellers of free rotation in opposite directions, which are installed in branch pipes, and heat exchanger pipes and installed so that straight, vertical, through clearance is avoided.

EFFECT: reducing material consumption and complexity of the construction, decreasing thermal pollution degree and increasing air heater efficiency.
