FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device for remote measurement of temperature of objects has an optical and a measurement unit. The optical unit includes series-arranged glass window which is transparent in the infrared range, focusing lens and input face of a fibre-optic waveguide. The measurement unit includes series-connected photodetector in form of a line of photodiodes, amplifier, analogue-to-digital converter and microcontroller whose outputs are connected to a liquid-crystal display and an interface for connection with a computer. The output face of the fibre-optic waveguide is connected to an acousto-optic tunable filter whose output is connected to the input of the measurement unit, and the control output of the measurement unit is connected to the control input of the acousto-optic tunable filter.

EFFECT: wider range of measured temperature.
